Vineyards

The vineyards of Festeggiata are located in Panzano, a special Italian wine growing area midway between Florence and Siena. Resting high in the Tuscan hills at 450-500 meters above sea level, constant breezes ensure cool nights even during the hot summer months.

Gentle winds slow maturation and are the secret to our exquisite wines. The winds fashion complex fruit characteristics in the berries and create Festeggiata's unique dark cherry and raspberry Chianti Classico. Soil composition is also ideal. Limestone in the earth insures high acid levels and the presence of shale brings scarce summer rain directly to the vines.
