2004 Super Tuscan IGT Magnum

Festeggiata's Super Tuscan is the culmination of five years of research to find the perfect method of blending three varietals, Sangiovese, Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon. The Sangiovese grapes provide the delicate fruit flavors that are then enhanced by the rich blueberry of Cabernet Sauvignon and the meatiness of Merlot. In addition, carefully timed oak barrel aging harmonizes the blend and adds a warm vanilla base.

The result is a unique Tuscan wine with a smooth matrix of ripe red fruit and warm rich tannins. It has an intense red color with deep purple accents and its perfume is a blast of cherry and wild berries.

The 2004 Festeggiata Super Tuscan is the perfect accompaniment to many dishes. However, unlike the Chianti Classico Riserva that begs to be paired with rich meats and cheeses, our Super Tuscan's smooth personality can be enjoyed on its own.
